Addaction has rolled-out Lookout Call’s lone worker safety solution to all its UK centres following the success of the system with its teams in Scotland.

The charity, which manages over 120 drugs and alcohol treatment services across the UK, has bought 380 additional licenses to extend the system to all lone working staff and enhance their personal safety.

Addaction works with people affected by drugs and alcohol to reduce and end their dependencies. Treatment is provided on a local level, with workers often helping individuals and their families in their own homes.

“Lookout Call has been successfully adopted by our teams in Scotland and we wanted to ensure that we were offering that high level of safety protection to all our staff,” said Andrew Horne, Director of Operations Scotland.
